Heron Virtual Academy of South Carolina (HVASC) expands to welcome all middle schoolers!

We’re excited to announce that Heron Virtual Academy of South Carolina (HVASC) is expanding to serve students in grades 6–12.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, HVASC will include middle school grades 6–7, giving more South Carolina families access to a full secondary school experience in one supportive, flexible online environment.

Students in grades 6–12 can enroll now and benefit from a program designed to support academic growth, independence, and future-readiness. Families will enjoy:

  • A structured yet flexible online learning model
  • Support from South Carolina–certified teachers
  • A safe, focused learning environment at home
