Heron Virtual Academy Is Award-Winning!

We are excited to share two amazing awards the school has received! At the Academic Showcase, hosted by Charter Institute at Erskine (CIE), Heron Virtual Academy won a Culture of Excellence award. HVA received this for achieving an excellent rating in School Culture on the state report card. This rating is based on responses from students, families, and teachers. It is a testament to the positive culture HVA has built in the virtual school environment.

HVA also received the Innovation in Charter School Development award at the Public Charter School Alliance of South Carolina annual conference. This award reflects our commitment to our mission and goals as a young charter school. We are committed to providing quality virtual education to students regardless of circumstance, and these awards show our focus on students.
