Welcome to Heron Virtual Academy of South Carolina (HVASC), a statewide virtual school program that uses innovative technology and a rich curriculum from K12! Our program focuses on students that have had challenges reaching academic success. We encourage students to grow and learn by exploring their personal interests and providing them with personalized alternative pathways to graduation.

Once you begin at HVASC, you enroll in more than a school program. From the day you walk through our virtual doors, you’ll find a learning program focused on supporting you and your student. Our educational resources enhance the learning experience and equip you with strategies and techniques to meet your student’s unique needs.

At HVASC, we know every student can graduate and flourish when given the opportunity. We believe in thinking differently, inspiring students, and partnering with our community. We do this by lifting students to higher standards and providing tools for success.
