HVASC Partners With Jobs for America’s Graduates

Congratulations to our outstanding students! Heron students and their families joined staff members at the JAG Conference awards ceremony in Columbia to celebrate their success.

Heron Virtual Academy of South Carolina (HVASC) is the state’s only online charter school to partner with Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG).

South Carolina’s JAG program boasts a graduation rate of 95%, well above the state’s average of 85%. JAG serves youth who face significant challenges, helping them achieve economic and academic success.

• Identify career pathways students are passionate about 
• Provide applicable classroom instruction 
• Offer on-the-job training opportunities 
• Coordinate mentorships
